Use the following trick to make all items, staff, and research available instantly and free. Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Use Microsoft Excel to edit the .CSV files in the "\global star entertainment\mall tycoon 2\data\models\" directory that correspond to the items, shops, staff, etc. Delete the prerequisites, and change all costs to 0 (should be in Column O). Save the file as its original name, and as a .CSV file. Note: If you need to, you must uninstall and reinstall the game to change it back to the original prices.
